This past weekend, from February 8-9, our Freedom Aquatics athletes made waves at the NYCCHSAA City Championships, delivering incredible performances and setting new records!
The Freedom swimmers that competed were: Andriy Badovych, Liam Korenblit, Donato D’Amelio, Trevor Mulvey and Charles Mark.
A huge congratulations to Andriy Badovych, who set three new school records in the 200 Individual Medley, 100 Breaststroke and 400 Free Relay! Also, a big shoutout to Liam Korenblit for his outstanding swim, setting a new school record in the 100 Butterfly! Together they set a new school record in the 200 Medley Relay.
In addition to these record-breaking swims, we are proud of Donato D’Amelio, Trevor Mulvey and Charles Mark for their strong performances and dedication throughout the competition.
We are incredibly proud of our swimmers and their hard work. Keep pushing forward, and let’s keep breaking barriers!
