A long and exciting short course season for Freedom Aquatics culminated in the month of Championships in March. Over the course of the month, Freedom Aquatics swimmers competed in championship meets, from 8 and Under Championships early in the month, to Sectionals Championships in Ithaca, NY March 22nd to March 25th. Freedom Aquatics was represented by 9 swimmers at 2018 Senior Mets Championships held at Nassau County Aquatics Center in Long Island, NY. 7 swimmers – Anthony Attenborough, Olexander Bezuglyy, Danielle Cianciotto, Maxim Kleyer and Elena Uttaro qualified for this championship in individual events including First Time Senior Mets Qualifiers – Josephine Elwell and Michael Passante.

Elena Uttaro shined at Last Chance meet which was held at Rutgers University by Scarlet Aquatics on the weekend of March 16th – 18th. Elena had a PHENOMENAL swim on the last day of the competition in the 200 Fly with a smashing 2:09.84 and placing 3rd in Finals! With that time Elena qualified for
