After a few months of online learning, online training and even some online shopping, the swimmers of Freedom Aquatics were finally able to get back to in-water training and some sense of normalcy.
Following an extensive search, Freedom Aquatics Management was able to secure two outdoor facilities. The first location to come on board was the Westfield Memorial Pool and Aquatics Complex located in Westfield, New Jersey who opened it’s pool for our team on July 11th, followed by the South Shore Swim Club in Staten Island on July 18th.
Despite having a different location and early practice times, the coaching staff was pleased to see the majority of our team members back in the pool. Coach Nikolay stated, “This is a really great start and I hope to see some of our regular locations start opening up along with the rest of the team joining us back in the pool in the coming weeks.”
